That was quick. I may have wasted people’s time here.

Worst camouflage attempt ever. Black tape over the badges and nothing else...

This is like when you see someone on a tv show wearing a hat but they put tape over the logo because they don’t have the rights.

No worries. Always neat to see a test mule, even if it's poorly disguised.

Isn’t wasting time what we’re here for? :)

The Ridgeline has been a production model for like 2 years now so why would they cover up the badges? Maybe thud is a mule for some “performance”/“off road” trim

Probably testing the 2.0L turbo/10spd combo which could be part of the midcycle refresh expected this time next year.

Duh! It’s a 1963 International C1000!

yep, worked with a lady that has a blue one. They are nice and super functional . Though, is it me or does that one look jacked up more than stock, maybe Honda is playing with an optional lift?

nah, looks stock. i think the black wheels, black cladding and white paint and playing with your eyes

Still doesn’t really explain why they need to cover up the badges like that... they’re just attracting more attention. It’s not like there are body work changes that need camo to throw cameras off.
Should do it like Porsche where they don’t even bother anymore. No one is mistaking that for anything else .
Or get crafty like VW did... disguise it as a Kia .

Could be a test mule for a new trim variant , could also be used for filming where they can’t show manufacturer ID.

Or the apple logo on macs being taped off.

Hmm that would be more tempting as a CRV replacement for me.

I don’t know.. there’s a lot of complaints about that 10spd in the new RDX. The 2.0L/10spd gets worse gas mileage than the last gen with the V6/6 spd.

EDIT: Upon closer examination, this isn’t facelifted at all.
Awesome prank: black out emblems on any current-model vehicle; drive around Detroit and watch people go nuts.
